WE DO NOT SHIP SHOPMAXONSHOOTERS.COM GUN OR AMMO PURCHASES OUT OF STATE. ALL GUN AND AMMO SALES MUST BE PICKED UP IN-STORE BY AN ILLINOIS RESIDENT WITH A VALID FOID CARD.

(orders are processed 10am-6pm each day)


PURCHASING FIREARMS ON SHOPMAXONSHOOTERS.COM

Firearms showing as "Available In-Store" are currently in-stock at our store located at 75 Bradrock Dr, Des Plaines IL, 60018
Firearms showing as "Available Special Order" are currently in-stock at a distributor and will be shipped to us, typically within 3-8 business days.
WARNING: currently some distributors are experiencing intermittent Covid delays so some special orders may be slow to arrive. 

WE WILL NOT PROCESS ONLINE GUN SALES IF THE CUSTOMER NAME DOES NOT MATCH THE BILLING NAME.
Orders received under a customer name that differs from the billing name will be automatically cancelled, and refunded.

AFTER GUN PURCHASE

After you place an order on shopmaxonshooters.com you will receive a confirmation email that includes your receipt. Once your order has been confirmed and prepared by a staff member you will receive another email with a link to schedule an appointment to come fill out your paperwork and pay your $5 background check fee plus the $25 per firearm Cook County Gun Tax. 
All gun purchases in IL are subject to a 3 day waiting period. Your 3 day (72 hour) wait begins when you first place your order, or in other words the exact date and time on the original order confirmation email receipt you will receive

WARRANTY 

Maxon Shooter's Supplies offers a $45 in-house warranty provided by our gunsmithing department that may be purchased at pick up. This warranty is offered for all factory new firearms that are purchased at Maxon, and select used firearms.  

Any manufacturer related defect will be addressed directly with the manufacturer. Maxon will pay for all shipping related costs (if the firearm needs to be sent back to the manufacturer) and communicate on the customer's behalf with the manufacturer.  This includes any safety recalls or safety upgrades that may be recommended by the manufacturer. 

Any other defect that is detected (and is not the fault of the user) will be covered by Maxon's gunsmithing department.

Customers should not disassemble the firearm beyond the field stripping explained in the firearm's owner's manual. Aftermarket parts installation that have been installed by anyone other than a Maxon gunsmith are not covered. The labor and installation on aftermarket parts that are installed by Maxon are covered but the actual part itself is not. 

Any modification that may compromise the integrity of the frame or slide voids the Maxon warranty. 

Maxon reserves the right to refuse to install any aftermarket parts that we deem to be unsafe.

RETURNS

Firearms, once transferred, may not be returned. Pending firearm sales may be cancelled, but will incur a $250 re-stocking/cancellation fee.

Ammunition available on this site is for in-store pick up only.

RETURNS

PURCHASING GIFT CARDS AND RANGE PASSES ON SHOPMAXONSHOOTERS.COM

You can either select to pick up in-store, or have shipped to you. All gift cards and range passes are non refundable.


ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will refund the credit card associated with the order.
